PPP Connection problem with Windows 2003 Server
Hello,
I am using a properitary PPPd(CCP not supported) to connect with
Windows 2003 Server.
When i try to connect i got struck with CCP/NCP negotiation.
Till Authentication all negotiations are success. I have included the
Windows Log after auth negotiations.
It seems Windows Closes the connection after receiving Protocol Reject
for CCP.
is there any way to disable CCP by configurations on windows side?
Does this the property of Windows server?

Yes, it does this because it's trying to negotiate encryption (MPPE),
and you're refusing that.

It is when MPPE is enabled. The properties should look something like
this:
http://www.jacco2.dds.nl/networking/...encryption.png
(Note: I don't use MS software ... pointing to pages that are easy to
find with google is about the best I can do there.)

> [1308] 06-05 12:10:09:296: MPPE-Send/Recv-Keys set
Note the above.

^^
Note that value -- the '1' in the least significant bit means that the
peer is asking for MPPE.

Don't you really mean MPPC?

Er ... oops. Thanks for pointing that out. Actually, I meant to say
that the _other_ bits set there (besides just the LSB) mean that it's
asking for MPPE in addition to MPPC.

Thank you very much Carlson.
