Hello, I'm having a hell of a time with getting a handheld iPAQ to communicate with an Exchange 5.5 server behind a pptpd connection. I can connect ok, and then proceed to ping hosts on the network ok. Once I attempt to POP to the Exchange server I immediately get a LCP Terminated message in /etc/log/messages.

I inserted 'debug' in /etc/pptpd.conf as well as /etc/ppp/options/pptpd but I see no more verbose output than I did prior to inserting that. I came across another post where someone suggested putting it in /etc/ppp/options, same result - nothing terribly verbose.

At this point I can ping any internal address on the network, once I attempt to POP to the Exchange server I get...

I'm new to a lot of this so it could easily be something I'm overlooking. This is being done on a wireless aircard which is essentially a 56k modem, perhaps latency is an issue? I'm out of ideas, any direction at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark
