Hello everyone

Trying desperately to mount a cd rom on my beige G3 running YDlinux.
the mount -t -r /dev/cdrom /cdfrank (where cdfrank is the mount point)
is not working. I have also tried several variations of same.

I tried a number of drivers from the yD distro and nothing works. The
drive is a Mat****a. I've also tried other manufacturers drive.

Here's what's perplexing. When I boot into OS and there's let say a
music cd the music cd starts playing so I know for a fact that the cd
rom is working.

Yelllow dog's web site doesn't appear to have a solution.

Any ideas
