Hi,
I have an installation problem on an Oldworld PowerMac 5500/225 :
after booting on floppies, partitionning, and creating root and swap FS, I
have to start system installation. I use a Debian 3.0r1 CD (burn from ISO
image). The Cd is unrecognized by the installation procedure, and when I
try to mount it I got the message "Medium not found".
So my questions :
- is this normal ?
- should i install a basic system from floppies then tries with more
drivers (is it a problem of drivers ?)
- how to check the cd-rom driver from this point (eg before installation,
with debian installation floppies) ?
Thanks
Christophe
