Hi,

it seems that the support for the floppy controller is broken since kernels
> 2.4.19 on my sytem (Motorola PowerStack 300 MHz).

dmesg says, that it has found a fd 2.8 Mb, but I have only 1.44 drive
connected (I have tested different types).

And when I use the fd0 device (fdformat or cat something > /dev/fd0) I get
just a error message:
bash: /dev/fd0: No such device or address

Does anyone know something about this issue? Or does someone has similar
problems?
