Hello,

I'm trying to set-up a linux machine (ipcop, kernel 2.4.31) on an old
notebook. I'd like to use a realtek 8139 based cardbus network adapter.

During boot it is not recognized, and it's not even listed by lspci.
When starting pcmcia, it uses yenta_socket.
dmesg displays something like:
cs: socket f7026800 timed out during reset. Try increasing
setup_delay.

Later after boot, if I unplug then plug the card, lspci will show it.
The same happens with another cardbus->usb2 adapter card.

Do you have any tips what's going on and/or how to solve this?

Thanks,
