  1. PCMCIA connection on Lbretto 50CT

    I installed RedHat5.0 on my Libretto 50CT. However, I can not mount the
    external CD drive (Freecom Traveller) which connects via PCMCIA. The
    cardmanager works and sees the PCMCIA slot on the Libretto (beeps when the
    card is inserted or removed).

    Here is more info about my system:

    with /dev/cdrom linking to /dev/hdc

    Then you need to build the module for your kernel, locate the source rpm for
    your kernel (uname -r) and built it.

    ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linu...0.36-3.src.rpm

    Better yet download a build a newer kernel for your system, the current
    2.0.XX kernel is available at (direct link for download);
    http://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v...2.0.40.tar.bz2

    Try "ide_cs".
