  1. Bug with PGP text encryption and Outlook 2003

It seems that there's a bug with the implementation of text encryption
with Outlook 2003 and PGP Desktop 8.0.3 (which is the only version
that has plugins supporting Outlook 2003). Apparently PGP will take a
saved copy of your text from Drafts, rather than what you actually
send. What this means that anything that you've typed since the last
autosave (by default 3 minutes, I think) will be lost. If you disable
autosave it works okay (Tools | Options | Email Options and uncheck
"Automatically save unsent messages") but that's a bit of a bummer
since it's nice to have autosaved text.

I suppose there are other workarounds, probably pressing the Save
button before you send would work, but that requires you remember to
do this with each message, and if you send a lot of PGP mail it might
slip your mind. Of course you can always use the encrypt hotkeys, but
then why bother having the plugins!

Can't find any reference on this on the web and certainly none on the
PGP site, would think that it's something needing a fix pretty soon
though! Any other experiences?? -- Mike

Well, now it appears that this isn't always the case. Not sure if it's
a matter of only having this bug on some configurations (I've seen it
on 3 different workstations with varying setups), or if it's that this
bug doesn't always take place. Still haven't been able to find any
    reference to it
