Go and check some of your local geek's toys ;-) stores. I've seen A
universal connectors set that allows the Palm being charges from 110/220
AC, 12 V/DC with a car adapter, and via USB.

The brand name is Covertec. I've seen it in FNAC shop in France. See
here for example (no car adapter in this one) :

    or here :

    Hope this helps,

Thanks; I do not see why Palm does not seem to sell one themselves...

That was my memory from seeing it, but I RTFM'ed and it talked about
    an external supply. being needed.

The user left both the cable and supply at his summer house and now
    needs replacements.

The charger works about ten times as fast as the sync/USB cable in
recharging the battery, but the sync cable does indeed recharge the
E2. I lost my charger in the last move, and have had to depend on
this way to recharge my E2.

    Mine seems to not charge.

How much time does it require (more or less) ?

Two to three hours seems to do it for mine, no matter how low I have
    run the battery.
