Same thing three times. Initially it came up with an error in the Bus
Master IDE Driver but it appears to be the same error even with the IDE
drivers removed. Anyone with any ideas? Could it be some of the
hardware being too new to work. I have updated the install disk to as
new as I can get them without going to ECS.
This machine has Ultrascsi 320 Hot swap drives but I thought it would
still install OK using the updated drivers for WSEB. Don't think thats
    the problem here anyways.

ahh think this is all mute. Most likely it can't handle the memory
above 512 MB! Doh never realised that was a restriction!!

I have no idea what an x206 server is so can only offer limited advice.

Is this an AMD64 based system? If "Yes" I suggest you Google for posts
relating to installing W4 on amd64 based systems.

Do you have drivers for the scsi 320 controller?

Do you have more than 512Mb RAM installed? If "Yes" Do you have a recent
kernel? Earlier kernels have problems with > 512Mb RAM. 14.103a, the
kernel used by eCS currently, does not have that problem and can be
    found here http://www.os2site.com/sw/upgrades/kernel/index.html

Hope the above provides a starting point.

An Intel-based IBM server. I have two 206m machines!

That's what bit me - no drivers for the SAS controller.

Thats a shame but given IBM's attitude not surprising. I'm about to
give the SCSI setup another go with reduced memory. Who knows it might
    even work!
