First of all, you must make sure the system (BIOS) supports booting
from a CDROM or DVD drive. That is usually a BIOS setting where
you cab change the boot-order. make sure the CDROM comes
BEFORE the internal hard-disk there ...

That MAY be a problem on some (quite new) systems, since
I think that uses the 'emulation' type of CDROM booting.
There are two types being used, emulation and no-emulation.
The classic OS2 installations disks all used 'emulation' since
that used to be the best supported, but times have changed
since Microsoft only uses 'no-emulation' for its productt.
The older method is not tested by many BIOS/board
manufacturers anymore and may fail ...
The lateer eComStation CD's use no-emulation, so you
could test that. (inckludes the free eCS DEMO CDROM)
