I'm now running a version of Pronews where I have backed out the fix I put in to
bypass this problem and have installed the replacement DLLs instead. Let you
know how long it takes to crash again! It used to last no more than a day or two
to crash - usually several times a night!

    Yes thanks.

Similarly with Thunderbird. Didn't try with Firefox.

This allows Seamonkey to be started up so looks fine in that regard. It's been
running a version of Pronews without the SMP fix I put in for this issue for
about 24 hours without a problem so far. Looks hopeful!
