There is no bsdi-elf-gcc3 line. Meaning that you must have added it
yourself. And if so, how do we know that referred error is not result of
copy-n-paster or similar error? I can't reproduce the problem.

FYI. 'make depend' should be operational on BSDi in HEAD now. Can you
confirm? Note that the plan for HEAD is to get rid of bsdi specific line
and use BSD-x86-elf with additional -ldl. Can you double-check
../config? A.
