i have two machines that are very slow to establish a ssh connection -- what
i found was that if i did a -o option
ssh -o GSSAPIAuthentication=no -N -L 2300:192.168.146.121:80
root@gohere.com every thing was fine and fast
setting GSSAPIAuthentication=no in the sshd_config would not do the same
thing
it seems like it is messing with kebros for some reason when i run it
without the the -o GSSAPIAuthentication=no option
it complains about a bad realm and numeric address see below

********************************************

90% of the time is spent on these errors which do not appear when i use a
cmd line -o option
(ssh -o GSSAPIAuthentication=no 192.xxx.xxx.xxx )

below is a snip with the -o option and without
