pool.ntp.org? - NTP
This is a discussion on pool.ntp.org? - NTP ; Has anyone looked at pool.ntp.org recently (as opposed to
www.pool.ntp.org)? It redirects to nintakhan.com, which seems to have
nothing to do with the ntp pool. Has it been hacked?

Isn't "pool.ntp.org" a time server chosen at random from the pool?
You are simply seeing whatever HTTP page that pool server happens to
have as the main page is presenting to the net.
Leaving off the "www" from a domain name and expecting it to be
equivalent to www. will invariably lead to surprises like
this.

Uh. pool.ntp.org does ntp from a large number of volunteers.
www.pool.ntp.org does http from a single point. They aren't the same at
all (although pool.ntp.org providers are asked to provide vhost redirects
if possible/convenient/whatever).
