First of all I would like to thank everyone that offered advise. Most
everyone indicated that I had a local network configuration issue and not a
problem with my ntp configuration. My solution was to use the Port
Forwarding feature in the dsl modem that serves as the gateway for my
network. I suspect that a better solution would be to re-align how all my
hardware is cabled together, but that would require me hiring some outside
expertise. Everything seems to be working properly now, as shown in the ntp
query results listed below, first tested with a single local server then
reset to use the pools.
