    Hello ^^

    After been working for a whole week over a NTP implémentation at home ( for learning purpose ),
    here there are, finally, 4 days of logging and graph tracing ( I did spend 2 days on GNUPlot alone ).
    The setup is ( copy at the end of the message, ads make it unreadable ):

    [PC1]---------[PC2]-------[Dl-614+]----[WIFi-client] ))) ((( [ADSL]-- www

    Slax OS..............Slax OS...........Switch....................Switch..... .............................web
    NTP server.........NTP client
    ..........................IP.Routing

    PC1 gets its time from the web only, and serves it to PC2
    PC2 is NTP client of PC1 only


    The NTPQ client and server were both reset, using :
    NTPQ stop
    ntpdate -f 0
    ntpdate [ any NTP web server IP ]
    rm /etc/ntp/drift
    rm /var/log/ntp/*
    NTPQ start

    PC1 NTP was reset, PC2 was reset and started 2 days later
    I'm trying to evaluate the accuracy and acceptability of the results I got,
    so I did som loops looging on each PC

    Both PC have been running 24H/7J with full time internet access during the whole experiment

    The hardware is old and cheap ( PC1 = BE6 / Celeron 700, PC2 = Pentium II 450 ), so that may
    have to explain part of the accuracy-loss

    Quick Results : The server is going good, but after 3 days, start going far, without reason.
    The same things is happening after less than 48h for the client. I don't understand why.
    How could I interpret these stranges results ?
