Faster convergence time on local network

Hi,

I am trying to use NTP on a closed network, where a local computer has been set as the server. The computers will not need extreme accuracy (~1-2ms is acceptable), however the client computer’s local time will need to converge within 5 minutes.

Unfortunately, the computers will be turned on and off frequently and I am restricted to using windows-based time software (no chrony). Is there any approach/ configuration I can take that will allow me to meet the above requirements.
