    Yes, and the server controls that.

    For the "nfsnobody" case, the real user is probably root. The server is
    mapping root to nfsnobody (with uid -2). Man exports(5), and you can
    pick between no_root_squash, no_all_squash, or anonuid and anongid (for
    a Linux system). Modify your server's /etc/exports accordingly and
    re-export.
