I'm a student at the university of Antwerp.
I just wrote a jabber server with a group of school.

Problem is that I can't test my server from the pc running the server
because my router is blocking the loop.
There is a check that the servername must contain a valid dns. So
192.168.0.x won't work.
I have a dyndns account so I can run the server and access it from a
client running at the server at school, but it must be possible to test my
server from a jabber client at my home.

My router specs: US Robotics USR9106.

I saw that the router is a linux box. And I can telnet to it.
It works with iptables...
