Deviding the bandwidth.
I have a simple LAN of two
PCs running Microsoft Windows
2000 or XP.
On of them has a modem to
connect to the Internet and
the other connects to the
Internet through the first
via a simple sharing on the
connection.
During an Internet conncetion
the two PCs access the
internet and the bandwidth,
as I notice, is devided
roughly equally between them.
Also I noticed that when one
is idle, the other has
roughly the entire bandwidth.
Mz question is:
How can I devide a bandwidth
in a controlled ratio (i.e. I
want the PC with the modem
get more bandwidth than the
other (e.g. 2:1))?
Can this be down without
using special software (i.e.
using only Windows options).
Thanks in advance.
