Hi all, assuming someone reads this group at all,
At my shop we recently upgraded a NetWare server running OES NW 6.5
SP5 to OES NW 6.5 SP6. After the upgrade we're unable to print on our
Océ 3155 Network Copier. Printing on the other printers works fine.
A capture of the network traffic from the NW server to the network
copier, using Wireshark, revealed extra linefeeds inserted into the
data stream (PostScript Level 3).
Next, I set up a computer running Windows XP and made this computer
send the very same print job directly to the network copier's DAC (the
RIP computer). This time no extra linefeeds were inserted into the
data stream, and the print job was available for selection from the
control panel on the network copier.
Can somebody point me in the right direction of solving this annoying
problem? Downgrade to SP5 or even SP4 is an option, but I'd rather
avoid that.
Trond.

You'll find a lot more people in Novell's own news server at
support-forums.novell.com. Depending on what kind of printing
you're doing (QMS, NDPS, iPrint), there should be somebody in
one of the printing newsgroups that may know what's going on.
