Mmm, wonder why my post didn't show :/ (was trying to reply to another
post, made back in 2008 - weird)

I'm trying to install GD, and according to another post I found in
this group, the solution was to download from http://www.boutell.com/gd/manual2.0.28.html#getgd
, then running ./configure, and finally copying ./config/gdlib-config
to /usr/bin). However, I still get an error:

**UNRECOVERABLE ERROR**
Could not find gdlib-config in the search path. Please install libgd
2.0.28 or higher.
If you want to try to compile anyway, please rerun this script with
the option --ignore_missing_gd.
Running make test
Make had some problems, maybe interrupted? Won't test
Running make install
Make had some problems, maybe interrupted? Won't install
[root@SmartBusiness config]#

...using :

perl -MCPAN -e 'install GD'

Any ideas?

TIA
