Could someone tell me if it is possible to load a XUL or HTML image
element using a binary data stream or a binary string instead of a
URL. I already have the image as a stream (not opened from a URL) and
just want to render it. I know I can load the raw pixels instead and
push them to a tag but then I miss out on all the compression
and optimisation functions built into the actual image (PNG, GIF etc).

Thanks in advance
