I believe you are trying to migrate filter rule that you created in
    Thunderbird for Comcast.

In that case, just copy msgFilterRules.dat file from Comcast newsgroup
folder to new newsgroup folder in profile folder.

or you can do same using this extension
    "https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/2474"

  2. Migrating Filters

Comcast will no longer carry usenet starting tomorrow, service continues
    until 10/25.

Anyway I started searching for new service and have settled on
    motzarella.org for now.

Is there a way to migrate all the filters I have built from one service
    to the other?
