Default newsgroup messages marked read

In newsgroups, is there a way to display only messages that are marked
unread?

Put another way, when I use another newsreader, it's possible to conduct
these operations in this fashion:

1. Go into a news group.
2. read messages. Over time, messages are marked as read as I look at them
3. Exit the newsgroup
4. Go back into the newsgroup.
5. The only messages that are shown are the ones that are now unread.

thanks
-George

There are three kinds of people -- those that can count and those that
can't.

thx John
I appreciate that

Does anyone know if cross-posted messages that are marked read in one group
will automatically appear as marked read in the cross-posted group?

thanks

Or "View --> Messages --> Unread" if you don't use a threaded
view.

cross-posted in these (moz-support) groups will, generally, get you
blasted.... unless of course, they have a very good reason to be crossed...
