  1. Thunderbird marking everything as Spam

I am running Thunderbird version 2.0.0.16. It was a new installation
and I restored my settings using Mozbackup. My problem is that every
item of mail in my vaarious inboxes get marked as follows
**SPAM**rest of title of the email
This happens with all of my mail.
    Any ideas??

Try unmarking one messages (that is not spam) and restarting.

When you first use Junk Mail Controls, it goes to all or nothing.
ALL messages will be marked as junk until you mark at least one as non
    junk and restart
followed by a 'session' in which NO messages are marked as junk until
    you mark one and restart.

Think of it as setting the upper and lower boundaries of the controls.
Just use it 'normally' (mark spam as junk and unmark any non spam) and
restart, it will go into 'normal' operation

Do you have K9 installed? That "signature" is produced by K9 (as well
    as other scanners).
