| I have been away for 2 weeks and missed all the upgrade fun =-O Reading the almost 3000 messages this group has generated in my absence is a little daunting and I apologise if this has been asked/discussed before, but before I take the plunge and upgrade to FF3 I wonder whether my FF2 add-ons (see list below) will work in FF3 or can be made compatible with FF3 via Nightly Tester Tools? Here is the list: Extensions (enabled: 26, disabled: 0): * Aardvark 2.9 * British English Dictionary 1.19 * Deutsches Wörterbuch 1.0.1 * Dictionary Switcher 0.9 * DOM Inspector 1.8.1.14 * Download Statusbar 0.9.6.3 * Fast Video Download 1.6.1 * Flashblock 1.5.6 * Forecastfox 0.9.7.6 * Greasemonkey 0.8.20080609.0 * IE Tab 1.3.3.20070528 * Image Zoom 0.3.1 * InfoLister 0.10 * Java Console 5.0.12 * Java Console 6.0.03 * Java Console 6.0.05 * Java Console 6.0.04 * Nightly Tester Tools 1.3 * Open link in... 1.4.1 * Open Long Url 0.2.3 * QuickNote 0.6.0.3 * ReminderFox 1.7.2 * SpiderZilla 1.6.0 * Talkback 2.0.0.11 * Update Notifier 0.1.5.4 * URL Link 2.02.2 -- Herbert Eppel www.HETranslation.co.uk |

I expect some of my add-ons won't work in FF3 initially - I suppose my main question is whether the "Make all compatible" function available in the Nightly Tester Tools add-on still works in FF3? -- Herbert Eppel www.HETranslation.co.uk |

I tried it on my laptop, and after installing the latest version of Nightly Tester Tools and using the "Override all compatibility" function everything appears to work OK 8-) -- Herbert Eppel www.HETranslation.co.uk |

I don't either, but the "Override all compatibility" function offered by the Nightly Tester Tools add-on is very useful for 'cranking up' stubborn extensions that claim to be incompatible with new FF versions :-) -- Herbert Eppel www.HETranslation.co.uk |
