Anywhere you like. ![]() It'll use most common image formats. There's a size limit, if this is still based on Torisugari's extension for Fx 1.0, but I no longer remember what it is. One way is to save favicons you like as you run across them on the web; they usually live in the site's root directory, e.g. |

No, it's not because of the icons I got back to 2.0.0.14. It's because FF3 crashes too often on some sites. Fons. |

That is NOT a good enough excuse to buy another computer. I have three versions of Firefox running at the moment. 2.0.0.14, 3.0, and 3.0.1pre, I could be running with one version of Firefox and with different profiles, or Safe mode. Only one profile can be in use at a time. You can install each version of Firefox into it's own directory, make the choice with custom install when you install Firefox. All profiles can be found together in a directory which has advantages and disadvantages, but makes going to a specific profile easy knowing where any one of them is at. You can have only one default browser, which is the one that external applications will find such as email. That default will/should start up automatically when you click on a link in an external application such as mail, but not from any browser which will find it's own links. My default browser is 3.0 at the moment, and can easily be changed. I could bring up another 3.0 (perhaps in Safe Mode) with a different profile (not the same profile) and that and other profiles would be brought up with -no-remote on the startup command. Ok Ron (& Jay), can I install FF3 next to FF2.0.0.14 ? So that 2 is always the standard (starts clicking in emails etc.) and 3 only starts when I directly start the executable firefox.exe v3. I'm willing to test when I still have a stable version to work with. If there's no possibility of having conflicts I can help the developers. You see ? That's why I mentioned having 2 computers. Thanks, Fons. |

You are on Windows, so right click on the clock lower right corner and choose Change Date and Time settings then Change Time Zone, make sure you have the correct Time Zone *and* that you have checkmarked Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time assuming that NL is on daylight savings time. Then make sure your time is set correctly after changing. Most computers can be synchronized with a time service. There is probably another tab where you set your time for Internet time settings, choose the server and you shouldn't have to worry about it. |
