    Hi,

in FF 2 it was possible to place XUL-Overlays directly over the page
content, but it seems to not beeing possible in FF 3 (even checked the
    docs).

Is there a workarround to place Overlays right over the website
content or the website area in the browser?

    Cheers
    J.

    Jens,

As you can see in the bug, the proper way to float chrome XUL over web
content is using the element. There is a plan to allow
floating chrome XUL over web content _without_ using , but that
    code is not ready yet.
