Most people in the newsgroup could care less about Google Tool Bar,
and would consider it to be a security risk and a waste of toolbar space.
In any case the ability to find one string at a time and possibly more
with the use of Ctrl can be done with

    "HighlightAll" extension https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/4240\

with other extensions, or by switching to the Opera browser using
    "Launchy" extension https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/81
(You have to have other browsers installed of course)

Notes on extensions I use can be found on or linked from my firefox.htm page.

I would also recomend "Customize Google" extension, though it will
not provide any improvement in Find. But it would help protect you somewhat
from Google and improve your usage, especially on high-speed with
    the streaming option.

You could vote on bug: 171237
    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171237
and hope that if implemented that is as good as Opera is using,
and does not unnecessarily scroll page. Opera automatically highlights
all occurences and F3 takes you to the next occurence.

    HTH,
David McRitchie, extensions I use are briefly documented on my site
    Firefox Custom: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/firefox/firefox.htm

I use the "Highlight" option that comes with the ClustyBar add-on for
    showing up search words:-
