I use Privoxy which means I use the "Manual proxy configuration".

Every time I (re)boot, the Connection Setting reverts back to the default
"Direct Connection to the Internet".
How do I stop this from happening ?

This may seem silly, but did you press OK twice after specifying the
manual proxy?
