Thread: I'm having problems with a website.

  1. I'm having problems with a website.

I'm having problems with a website I really like and would like to
COMPLETELY uninstall Firefox -- eliminating remembered websites and
    everything--and then reinstalling it totally.

I tried it once, but when I reinstalled Firefox, it still remembered
all my settings and bookmarks. (I'd save my bookmarks somewhere else
and then load them back in once it's reinstalled. I want to find out
if this will correct the problem, since the website runs fine under
IE. The website DID work for quite a while under Firefox until just
    recently.)

I tried going into the registry, but that could take quite a while to
    do.

I really doubt it will help you as I don't see why the bookmarks or
remembered websites would interfere with normal browsing operation. I
would look elsewhere for the cause. Anyway, you can locate your profile

    Your going about it wrong.

    Leave FF alone.

Locate all your FF Profile folders dump them and empty the Trash/Trash Bin.

Then FF has to start from scratch of course you'll you'll kill your
email addresses and Bookmarks if you do that unless you back just those up.

That might be an important issue, but email addresses? I think not.
