Thread: "move again" not showing destination folder

  1. "move again" not showing destination folder

In 2.0.0.14, right clicking on on e-mail in the inbox or any other
folder offers an option to move the item to another folder, or to move
it again to the same folder as the last time. In previous releases it
showed the name of the destination folder, so that it saved time and you
always knew what you were doing.

In release 2.0.0.14 it simply shows the words "Move again" and you have
to guess or remember where the item will be moved. Since the last move
may have been minutes or hours or days ago, this feature is now almost
    useless. I have opened bug
    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431814 about this issue.

I have a similar, but not quite, problem. Messages I've saved outside of
TB's storage folders can't be copied or moved back! Example: I receive
an email which I want to save outside of the storage folders because the
size is too large. After cleaning up my storage folders to accommodate
the email, I open it (by double-clicking it in my Windows Vista file
system) and try to choose either Move or Copy ... however, nothing
happens. The email remains in the Windows file system and doesn't show
up at all in TB's storage folders. Is this a bug?

    TIA
    Russel

No problem here. The name of the destination folder is still displayed
in TB 2.0.0.14 when right clicking on an email, just as before with
2.0.0.12. And it works for both, WinXP and Linux.

I've discovered that there are three places where the "move again"
feature is presented, and I now see that two of the three are working
properly, but the third is not.

    - Doing a "move again" from the toolbar Message drop down does display
    the target.
    - Doing a "move again" by right clicking in the body of a message does
    display the target.
    - Doing a "move again" by right clicking on an item in the list of
e-mails (the upper pane of the 3 pane configuration) DOES NOT display
    the destination.

Now that I realize that that is the only place that it does not work as
expected I am not as concerned as I was originally.

It works in two out of the three places that the feature is available.
I posted another note in this thread explaining.

Turns out to be a bug in ReminderFox.
    https://www.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=19048
ReminderFox support is excellent and it should be fixed in the next
    release of ReminderFox.
