    1. Because, like dogs barking, it works.

    2. Clever spammers can get around moderation.

    3. ALL newsgroups are being inundated with spam now; it makes the
    personal loons look almost good.

    ask your forum portal why no filters or access NNTP using a proper
    client or Thunderbird.

    odd, I've not seen /any/ since the numeric morphers month or few back
