  1. Mail Checking For Account Not Set To Check

I have mail being checked for an account in TB 2.0.0.12 for an account
that is not set to check mail at all, nothing is checked. Exit/restart
does not solve. This came up in a previous version but don't remember
    the solution or bug #.

Have you looked at TB's about:config? Filter on check. Possibly
changes from default aren't being recorded?

Already checked that and it's set to "false" and in the prefs.js file.
    Good thought tho .. thanks

It's an IMAP account if that means anything and exit/restart TB seems to
correct it. And I think it only happens AFTER I manually check the new
mail. From then on it checks on it's own.

Yes, I've found that. Once you check the Imap account presumably a
connection to it is open and TB then seems to detect any further mail
    which arrives during that session.

Interesting. Is/are the server(s) on localhost or remote? I can check
for similar behavior with SM if local.

A quick look at bugzilla indicates the problems with TB vis a vis Gmail
    are legion.

It's still a young bug, only 4 years old now. :-D
