I know you said you tried "everything," but without specifics, I have to
ask: did you check to make sure the Bookmarks.html file is not marked as
read-only? This happens typically if you have restored the file from a
CD-R. Otherwise, please describe in a little more detail what you have
tried and when this seems to have started.
