Thread: Minor HTML newsletter issue

  1. Minor HTML newsletter issue

One of my many HTML newsletters seems to arrive in 2 parts, i.e. the
main newsletter in HTML plus a plain text footer.

I see the footer when I scroll down, but TB also displays an associated
attachment icon at the bottom of the message, which means that quite a
lot of screen space is wasted. I can eliminate it manually by moving the
'attachment bar' down, but I have to do this every time I view this
    particular newsletter.

It isn't a big problem, of course, but I wonder whether it can be avoided?

Instead of viewing in the preview pane (assumption) set "view attachments inline"
Then double click on the message to open a "full" window.
You won't see the attachment pane , nor the offending footer unless you scroll down.

    Hi Joe,

    thanks for your reply.

However, as you can see at
    , the problem persists
(I see the same in the preview pane and in a full window).

"View attachments inline" was/is already set, but I still see the "Part
    1.2" attachment icon.

I subscribe to numerous electronic newsletters, but this is the only one
where I see this phenomenon. I wonder whether it has something to do
with the user agent, which is "SPnetMail 0.99m" ?
