Thread: Tracking cross-posted threads?

  1. Tracking cross-posted threads?

    Hi

In Netscape Mail and Newsgroups it used to be that if you read a post in
one newsgroup that was also cross-posted to another newsgroup, then when
you opened the other newsgroup that post would also show as having been
read already. (I hope that's clear.)

Is there anyway to set Thunderbird up to do this too?
    I'm on a Mac OS10.3.9, Thunderbird vers 10.5.0.10.

OK. Thanks. That's what I figured. Just thought I'd ask.

one of the reasons that "cross-posting" isn't liked very much in these
newsgroups - to put it *very* mildly, it's a pain in the ass!
