Mailing list handleing
I subscribe to a mailing list. When I post to the list, my posts don't
show up in the list, but rather the sent mail folder. Is there any way
of changing this?
I've set up a filter to move all posts that have [mancixie] in the
subject line to the mailing list folder and also the posting address.

Yes. I should have mentioned that I also use my own domains for the
e-mail addy's and forward these to gmail.

I don't know how using your own domains in the e-mail addy's will affect
things, but I've head that Gmail considers such messages duplicates and
will only keep one copy.
I vaguely remember people suggesting to send using a non-gmail SMTP
server to get around this. Search this newsgroup on Google.
