Thread: Email list Subject/Sender Bug?

  1. Email list Subject/Sender Bug?

Not sure if this is a Thunderbird problem or not. I started noticing a
couple days ago that the odd email subject and sender information displayed
on the email list was being cross linked or messed up.

For example an email in my box right now is showing:
Subject: PHwkARvfMA Sender: Sithembile Santiago - but when I open the
message it shows the proper subject/sender (Maritime Daily
    News/DailyNews@MarineLink.com).

The message doesn't filter properly either. I know Thunderbird updated not
too long ago I just don't recall if this started happening at the same time.

Any information or help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

    Try this:
    Close Thunderbird.
Go to your profile folder [1].
In the \Mail\ directory, there's a folder for each server. Within the
folder for the server pertaining to the account in question, delete the
file 'Inbox.msf' (do *not* delete 'Inbox').
