  1. MessageID-Finder 2.0.0

Disappointed that the update still doesn't work properly with the View,
Threads, Unread setting when I try to backtrack from a new reply to
previously read replies using reference number.

It works fine with the View, Threads, All setting, where it's totally
unnecessary since the FULL hierarchy of replies is already shown!!

You may want to enter a bug for it at

Hi, Holger - No real need. In late 2004, I got a note from the mnenhy
author to the effect that the messageIDfinder author was aware of the
    problem and could reproduce it.

Talking about MessageID-Finder: there is a conflict between
MessageID-Finder and the QuickMove extension (I use the latter
regularly) in the sense that with MessageID-Finder installed, QuickMove
keeps losing its settings, in other words MessageID-Finder seems to
    partially break QuickMove.

The problem is fully reproducible and I have been in correspondence with
the author of MessageID-Finder (Markus Hossner), who acknowledged it but
basically said there is nothing he can do about it.

Not a very happy state of affairs, since the author of QuickMove seems a
little elusive (e-mails to the address given at
http://www.supportware.net/mozilla/#ext19 are bouncing, and my mail to
    Hershel Productions (also listed at
    http://www.supportware.net/mozilla/#ext19) has remained unanswered.

    I think I'll enter a bug at http://messageidfinder.mozdev.org/bugs.html
in the hope that it might trigger some action.

    Regards
