  1. TB 1.5 RSS Changes - Annoyance

The date that shows up in an RSS feed now seems to be the date/time that
the feed was polled, rather then the date of the item.

Here is the problem: I have Thunderbird setup on 2 PCs. Both read the
'The Inquirer' RSS feed. When I log into the 'other' PC and check the
account, I need to find where the truly new stories start. Before I
could sort by date and then search for the first story that I had not
read. That no longer works with TB1.5.

Of course what I really want is some way to synchronize the status of
entries between the 2 PCs, but that would seem to be a much more
    difficult problem.

Perhaps your solution is what I intend to do: make it portable. Then you
    bring your profile with you.

Instead of synching, you take backups and perhaps clean out the profile
    at intervals.
