Creating and moving a new profile
I'm trying to check out a folder from an archived e-mail file for a
reported virus. So I created a new profile and moved it to an Iomega
floppy. I tried to follow Irwin's well written documentation on
_TB-Managing Profiles_ but get lost with a couple of items. I want to
save the replies for future reference so should I post this in secnews so
nothing gets clipped?

I use to flag the NG messages in Thunderbird I want to keep as
reference, then use File > Offline > Get Flagged Messages every once in
a while, so I have them archived locally.
Unfortunately TB doesn't handle the offline messages the way I'd like,
so acting correctly is required to not erase them inadvertently.
