Thanks for your answer.
Now we ran checksetup.pl and then recode.pl following documentation.
Both scripts ended without error but again the data has been cropped.
Any idea of what might be happening?

You didn't follow the instructions of checksetup.pl--you didn't
run recode.pl correctly during your upgrade. You have to re-do your
upgrade.
