    Hello everyone

    I want to install bugzilla on a Windows 2003 Server SP2 and i reached
    step 2.2.3 of the manual (http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/3.0/pdf/
    Bugzilla-Guide.pdf). But after calling checksetup.pl no tables in my
    postgres database are created. I have created a postgres user bugs and
    changed the pg_hba.conf.

    some minutes and attempts later checksetup prints no output any
    longer!? (there is still no database)

    what's wrong?

    After this it's supposed to print the version of your
    PostgreSQL server. So it's trying to connect and the connection must be
    hanging for some reason. I don't know why.

    I'm using postgres 8.2.

    The command checksetup.pl makes no output now (Though I have
    uninstalled the DBD-Pg perl package).

    I will repeat the whole installation process. . .

    same error like descripted above. Is there a log file or something,
    which can help to find the error it self?

    For installing the database and its tables, there is no need to setup
    the webserver first, correct?

    Can apache http webserver and apache tomcat be used parallel?
