  1. Unable to reassign bug in Bugzilla 3.0

    Hi,

I am trying to reassign a bug to another member. The moment I give
commit after selecting the option 'reassign bug to', it takes me to a
blank page. The status bar in IE 6 says 'done' at the bottom left, but
the page is completly blank. URL at this point in .../bugzilla-3.0/
    process_bug.cgi

I tried running checksetup.pl script, it gave me the following warning
    message.

    --------
WARNING: We are about to convert your table storage format to UTF8.
This allows Bugzilla to correctly store and sort international
    characters.
However, if you have any non-UTF-8 data in your database,
it ***WILL BE DELETED*** by this process. So, before
you continue with checksetup.pl, if you have any non-UTF-8data (or
even if you're not sure) you should press Ctrl-C now
to interrupt checksetup.pl, and run contrib/recode.pl to make all
the data in your database into UTF-8. You should also back up your
database before continuing. This will affect every single table
in the database, even non-Bugzilla tables.

if you ever used a version of Bugzilla before 2.22, we STRONGLY
recommend that you stop checksetup.pl NOW and run contrib/recode.pl.

Press Enter to continue or Ctrl-C to exit...

    ------

I also ran recode.pl script and then again checksetup.pl, but it still
gives me the warning message and the blank page.

According to Mysql, characterset is latin1

    --------
    mysql> status;

Yes, after you have run recode.pl and recode.pl has completed
successfully, you can hit "Enter" after that warning message. (If you
actually read the message, this should make sense.)
