Does anyone know of integration done between Bugzilla and
salesforce.com's case/ticket portion of the CRM.

We have an integration between bugzilla and another CRM system and it
works well. We know that salesforce.com has published an API, but am
short on details.

Also: whereas our current integration sticks 'bugzill stuff' directly
into the bugzill database (new bugs, comments), we now would like to use
a bugzilla API for inserting bugs. Does bugzilla 3.0 have such an API
