  1. Bugzilla Installation Error

    Hi,

I installed bugzilla-2.22rc1 version, I am having perl, mysql. and also installed all the dependent perl modules. when I executed checksetup.pl file all modules are shown as ....ok found.
Next I installed Apache web server and added the directory for Bugzilla and enabled CGI script by Addhahdler. I followed the steps from the bugzilla guide.

Now when I am tring to access bugzilla from the browser by http://lcaolhost/bugzilla/ I am gatitng an error message like:

Forbidden You don't have permission to access /bugzilla/ on this server.

    ---------------------------------
Apache/2.0.47 (Unix) Server at localhost Port 80
    What may be the problem?

    Any help please?

    Thankyou,
    Indraveni

You need to set the file permissions to be world readable.

Looking at the error message again, make sure the bugzilla directory is
    world executable.

    ________________________________________________
I have given the world readable permissions to bugzilla directory. When
I placed the bugzilla directory under cgi-bin I am seeing an error like

You dont have permissions to access the /cgi-bin/bugzilla/index.cgi file

Whereas when i placed the bugzilla folder in the /htdocs folder then it
    is showing the following error

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
    unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, you@your.address and inform
them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done
that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
And my error log file is showing the folowing for the above error.
[Thu Apr 20 10:40:09 2006] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Premature end of
    script headers: index.cgi
