  1. New bug, "email sent to: no one"

I have several products defined, complete with default components and a
default user assigned to the components. For my primary product we have been
adding bug reports to it for some time now and everything is working as
    expected.

I recently added a new product, created a default component and assigned a
default user/owner to the component. When I create a new bug record for this
new component/product Bugzilla reports "Email sent to: no one". If I enter
an email address in the CC field the CC recipient gets an email.

If I enter a new defect in my primary/older product the component owner
(same owner specified in new product/component) is sent an email.
(Demonstrating that personal email settings are set to receive email.)

I have run sanity check and it reports no problems. Any ideas why email
isn't sent when entering bugs for my newer product/component?

is the recipient/user a valid emaill adress

can you make a component, assign it to a know CC recipient that works, and
when entering bug, CC the same person?

i.e. component is assigned to u@u.com
create a bug, and CC u@u.com

does u@u.com, still only receive one of them?

mine is working fine, but you know what, if you are the assignee, and you
enter the bug, i.e. your reporter also, you might not get the email.

Are you yourself the only person who would be sent mail? Check your
email preferences, in the "Prefs" area.
